Children's Program:
Our Children's Program is for 6 to 12 year old
children and focuses on the development of the student's martial arts
and social skills. We strive to teach the children the five tenets of
Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and
Indomitable Spirit. Our staff fosters the development of the "black
belt attitude" - giving the best effort in every activity. Our program
allows for individual development combined with group socialization.
We have a variety of special events and competitive outlets to enhance
the child's skills and attitude.
Little Ninjas Program:
Our Little Ninjas program is geared towards 3 to 5
year old children. The program focuses on eight core skills: Balance,
Teamwork, Control, Focus, Coordination, Discipline, Fitness, and
Memory. Emphasis is placed on basic motor skill and group behavior
development. The Little Ninjas program is comprehensive, continuously
building towards the Children's Program.
Children's Grappling:
This program teaches children the basics of
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a ground based wrestling-style martial art.
Grappling will teach the children to think on their feet and on their
backs. The curriculum will teach the children to defend themselves
even if they are tackled by a bully and thrown to the ground. The
skills learned in this program will help protect them for the rest of
their lives.
Adult Program:
Our Adult Program combines the traditional and
sport aspects of martial arts with a comprehensive system of
self-defense. Our balanced curriculum will help you gain martial arts
skills while improving your physical and mental self. Your energy
level will increase, you'll lose weight, and your self-confidence will
soar as you make progress and achieve "personal victories" with each
class.
Yoga:
An exciting addition to our schedule, our Yoga
program will increase your flexibility and help to firm and tone your
muscles. Hatha Yoga is an ancient practice, developed in India more
than five thousand years ago. Classical Hatha Yoga postures will
strengthen, stretch, tone, cleanse, and center the body and mind,
cultivating a state of vitality, clarity, and relaxation. For physical
fitness, Hatha Yoga is a comprehensive workout, integrating
cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and stretching in
rhythmic, graceful, stress-reducing movement.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:
Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program is designed for
students of all levels. It incorporates both the sport and the
self-defense aspects of this rapidly growing martial art. Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu has been proven to be an effective style capable of adapting
to any opponent skilled in any martial art technique. This ground
based martial art will give you a complete body workout, strengthening
and stretching muscles and improving cardiovascular conditioning.
MMA Reality Based Self-Defense
Utilizing a combination of multiple martial arts
disciplines, the MMA Reality Based Self-Defense program gives you the
skills to defend yourself in today's world. The program focuses on
developing skills and timing to defend yourself from an opponent at a
variety of distances. Improve your cardiovascular conditioning, lose
weight, and tone up while you learn to defend yourself!
